But when I did, well, I had an audio cable going from my microSAMPLER to my computer’s M-Audio Fast Track Pro, as well as a midi cable going from my computer to my microSAMPLER and vice versa. This way, I could use Cubase Essential 5 on my computer to activate the samples in my microSAMPLER via the midi connection, then record the audio coming out of the microSAMPLER into Cubase Essential 5, where I would either render it as an MP3 or as a WAV. Also, I could use my microSAMPLER as a midi controller to activate the stuff in Cubase Essential 5.
