I used MicroSampling to make a new song!
MicroSampling is a technique used by a guy named Akufen, who I really admire. It’s where you record half-second samples and stitch them together to make a new song. It’s really fun to do, but it’s really tedious. Here’s my song:

New 8bit song: Casiety
This is a new 8bit song I made in Cubase SL 3 with some 8bit plugins and a bitcrusher. It’s not quite as good as my previous song (Portrit) but it’s closer to being purely 8bit. Hope you like it!

Birthday! New Korg DS-10 Plus song!
Hey everybody! I’m 19 today! I had a great birthday party with my friends Max, Cam and Cam. There was gonna be a third Cam, but he couldn’t come. Anyhoo, here’s a new song called ‘Portrit’ that I made using my Korg DS-10 Plus (with Dual Mode enabled, so I could increase the complexity).

So, the news is that I’ve done everything I can to get into ACAD, so all I can do now is wait. Exciting!

You know that song I posted a week or so ago, called NoFril? Well I got lots of positive feedback on it, but I also some complaints about what I could have done better. So, I spent five-and-a-half hours fixing it. It now has:
A stronger kick drum
A better buildup
A bigger amount of variety
